whats everybodies favorite treble hook. is it the good ole 3551 or something else.

VMC 9650BZ 2/0-5/0 for most lures
Mustad 3551 2/0-7/0 for lures that i want a bit more weight on (longer shank)
VMC 9626BZ 2-1/0 for trolling livebait
The reason for such a small hook for livebaiting is because we use a completely different technique here in Sweden, side planers and parabolic trolling rods.

Location: Hayward, WI		I really like the Eagle Claw 774. I wish they made them bigger than 5/0. For 6/0-8/0 hooks I use the Mustad 3551.

I also use the Mustad Round bend 3/0 for baits that come with that hook. I can't think of many/any baits that one of those 3 hooks won't serve you well.
