This is probably a long shot but figured I'd give it a go. I've been fishing all my life but recently caught the musky bug big time. I'm in the process of building up my collection of Musky gear. I am also a huge reptile nut and have been keeping a small collection of designer Green Tree Pythons for several years now. I also breed them. If there is anybody interested that wants to get into Green Trees or is already into them I have a few snakes that I produced that I would be willing to trade for Musky gear. I have several snakes that are in the $500 - $750 price range. I can send out high quality photographs upon request. I am also certified to ship reptiles through fedex and stand behind them 100%. References are also available as I know I am not well known around this block.

What I'm looking for but not limited to -

Left handed bait casters (yeah yeah it's what I'm used to)
lakewood or other storage boxes / bags
7'5" rods - 8' rods
Hard baits........top water, glide baits, top raigers, weagle
bucktails - custom bucks, cowgirls, showgirls

Please feel free to email me with any questions

Thanks,

A guy in the custom lure section makes muskie baits out of various types of snake skins. Maybe the two of you can work something out.

Honestly... This is just so tempting... I wouldnt mind owning one or two Morelia Viridis again... Owned one back in 1999-2000... Such a beautiful boid... Just curious... what lineage did they come from??? Trooper Walsh, Hillary Webb, TSK, or???

Collected snakes, mostly Boa Constrictors and Ball Pythons from 1995-2005/06... Got out of it as the things was being overwhelming... taking care of 24-26 Boids at a time plus few enclosures full of rats really took a huge toll on me...

Like I said I wouldnt mind owning at most two Morelias for display purpose... but not now... Perfectly content with my passion for muskie fishing... Good luck... hope you get what you need via trading...

Tell me about it......it can get out of hand very quickly. I do own some really outstanding TW blue bloodline animals, Tim Morris blueline, Dream, lemon, as well as OS High Yellow.....the list goes on. The particular animals that I have for trade come from a locality cross I did between a Biak female and a male produced by a friend of mine. The Grand Sire of my babies is a solid blue, wild caught animal that is absolutely ridiculous. Here is a photo of one of my holdbacks from last year.

BREATHTAKING!!! GTPs sure has come a long way in last 10 years, I bet!!!

That pic isnt helping me tamper down the temptation LOL

At least, I know who to get hold of if I do decide to get couple Morelias...

Generally, what are the temperament of the Morelias in your collection... I remember how nasty mine was... took me a good 6-8 months before he calmed down enough to be handled frequently...

Thanks!! That was my first ever attempt at breeding anything and it was very exciting watching those babies come out of the egg. I typically don't handle them unless I really need to (weekly soakings ect). I have found that they do much better left alone. Morelia Viridis tend to stress out more than other boids when handled frequently. That being said, I can free handle every snake in my collection during the day. The key is knowing each snakes personality and how it reacts to being handled. Some are more laid back than others. One thing is for sure though, come lights out I can't even walk past a cage without them wanting to strike.

Yep, that's me.

Brian,
I haven't seen anything as beautiful as that snake in the picture. But I'm not interested in buying a creature that beautiful just to kill it for it's skin. However, if you ever had a snake die unexpectedly, I'd definitely be interested in a skin. Snake skin spoils very quickly and they need to be cooled or frozen right away. Keep me in mind if the unexpected happens.

thanks,
jeremy

Jeremy,

I was checking out your site the other day. Definetly impressive work you do! I actually have a few dead babies in the freezer that I could never get to eat. I froze them right away. Pm me your email and I will send you some pics. They are bright yellow and dark red. You could probably make a few small bass lures with them but prob not enough skin for a musky lure. Maybe we could do a trade off. Thanks and go Steelers!!
