I'm very confused on where this lake is. My only question is, Manitou lake is located right above Michigan, though on many websites, it shows it as a totally different lake EAST of where the "actual" lake on the map is located. The other is located above Minnesota. I am very confused! Which is the real Manitou Lake!?

The Manitous, upper and lower are located in northwest Ontario. There are other Manitou lakes but when it comes to muskies the one above Minnesota comes to mind first.

You're probably thinking of Upper and Lower in northwest Ontario as Slimeball pointed out. Try this website: http://www.manitouweatherstation.com/index.htm

EvErNoOb,

The Real Manitou Lake? There are a few Manitou Lakes out there across the country, it just depends on which one you are looking for - They are all Real Manitou Lakes, there are no fake ones. The Main Manitou Lake that most people in the Midwest know about is Lower and Upper Manitou Lake located 35 miles north of Fort Frances, Ont./Int'l Falls, MN. It is known for Big Muskies, Smallies, Pike, and Great Trout. If you need some info about the lake, click on the link below and I can email you some info.
