I'm looking for decent low profile reel that will handle small to medium sized baits....gliders, small bucktails, jerk baits etc. My girlfriend has expressed some interest in Muskie fishing and has used my big round reels, but her hands are way to small.

So I'm looking for a relatively cheap option since shes not gonna be die hard about it, and it will only be used a handful of times a year. Anyone e got a used real they'd like to sell or possibly trade?

Thanks!

Bass pro also has a Browning low pro muskie sized reel, my buddy bought one and has caught 3 muskie on it and used it all of last year and so far this year with no issues to speak of. It is only right at $100 new. Good luck on finding the right reel!

I would consider possibly not going with a low pro reel, but maybe let her use the round reels, and instead of palming the reel, hang onto the front cork. More leverage, especially for a woman or kid. Just my 2 cents worth.

Shimano Curado 200 E7: $140. The durability and service plan are worth the money.

Check out the Shimano Cardiff 300 size, A very small round reel that you can palm with no problem and it has landed lots of muskies for me.
