| does every one have problems with them like i do? always a pain trying to get one on, attach a hook, etc. i have 3 pairs, one being rapala, not sure about the others. all three i struggle with. got to be something better out there. |

| Tyrant has a solid pair of split ring pliers. I was using a small pair from cabelas I picked up about 5 years ago and they don't compare to the Tyrant pair. Its a good set of pliers. |

Location: Contrarian Island | Rollie and Helens have a nice small pair that have a black handle...not sure they have a brand name on them...don't see em in the catalog but buy them at the store...trick with those is take your hook file and file down the point that goes into the split ring just a touch and voila..they are money! 10 bux |
