Subject: U.P. Michigan Muskie Fishing?

I have a place in Western Upper Peninsula Michigan. I have plenty of spots for Northerns/Smallies but looking for some decent Muskie fishing. My place is in a small town called Republic, located between Iron Mountain and Ishpeming. I have fished Lake Michigamme and pulled some really big Northern and Walleyes while fishing for Muskie but still on the search. Any suggestions on any decent lakes in my area would be much appreciated. I have heard Lake Chicagoan, Craig Lake up there have Muskie but cannot find any recent information. Thanks.

Chicagon has muskies, but is a tough lake. For me at least. I believe you have several lakes in your area although I have never gotten over that way yet to test them out. The names of the lakes by you elude me right now.

Thank you Cisco for your reply. I will be out on Lake Michigamme tomorrow. If you or anyone else has any suggestions please post them. I have been fishing for Muskie for my 3rd year now and yet to catch one (with the exception of one that was abt 12" long). Can use all the help I can get.
