Ok, if folks agree let's use this thread to coordinate the matches. I'll post a list of the pools below and suggest that we still need the following info posted for each team...

1) Identify the team's main contact person.
2) List the dates for fishing.

Seems that only half the teams have provided dates and that is a problem. Date up.

In the past I found it easiest to use the phone to coordinate matches, so I plan to PM my phone number to all other teams in my pool to facilitate scheduling.

Ok, how does that sound and what are your suggestions for improvement?

*******************************************************

Pool 1
AndyC
Stella Blues
Team Violent Strike
Team Rod Rash

Pool 2
Team Red Barchetta
Team Pace T Melon
Ski Patrol
Team Mouskerbousker

Pool 3
White Mambas
muskie maniacs 2007 Champs
"Midwest Muskie Hunters"
Whistlepeckers

Again, the first two steps are to

1) Identify each team's main contact person.
2) List the dates for fishing.

Suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Red Barchetta's a scratch for today. Appliance installation crapped over my plans to fish. "We'll be there between 8-11am......... Sorry we're running late. Going to be between 3-5. We hope it's not too much an inconvenience." looks like one fish and you guys take it. Don't recall if there's any provision for a make up. I can get out tomorrow if so.

Ranger, wish I would've caught that on time...definitely would've agreed. Was fishing a tourney and we got two...would've been perfect!

Will be fishing a tourney this weekend so that would work, or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday next week would work.

Let me know.

Fishing dates update from Pace T Melon......

We can fish matches during the July 5-8 period (6th and 7th would be the easiest for us but the other days work too).

*** If any of Pool 2 can fish during July 5-8, please try respond here before Sunday July 3. We'll have to drive 20 minutes to get cell service or WiFi signal and need to know what dates we have matches so we aren't driving randomly each day to check for matches and items.

We can also fish matches August 1-7 and August 20-21.

Other random dates before September could also work, so let us know when you want a piece of us

Big storms rollin thu here and power was off most of the day. If we can't get an item I plan to be wearing a St. Louis Cards Batting helmet, not a hat, a helmet, if I am fortunate and boat a fish.

Got out this morning for a while and managed a whopper...30 inches. Not sure how big they have to be...assuming either 28" or 34". Took a pic with the phone as I was by myself and no camera with a timer on me. Saw one mid to upper 40's that I will be chasing again tonight...will post if I end up netting it.

Good luck if you guys didn't head out yet.

Please forgive Maximus for confusing things. We are Pace T Melon, not Yah Yah.....nice work Steve

But, he is correct in that Pace T Melon is looking for Pool 2 matches August 1-7 or August 20-21.

We had a double blank against Red Barchetta on July 5, so hopefully we can get some action versus Ski Patrol or Mousker.

We can not fish this week.

Musky maniacs had a 4 fish day with some nasty weather that got the fish eating. Only 3 will count as the 1st was a 29"er. Steve or slamr will post the pictures for me. The water temps are very high her also. The one lake was 86 and the other was 83 surface temps.

Pool 2

Anyone able to fish Aug. 20 or 21?

21st is preferred but we'd make the 20th work.

I did not call Steve to fish this weekend. We got 2 inches of rain on Friday pm in an hour that had major flooding and took 4 lives 15 miles from my house. Also had bad storms and tornado watches for Sunday, I hope to get out labor day weekend to fish someone. My thoughts and prayers to the families of the 4 people who lost their lives. Be safe.

pool 3 will need an item posted on saturday for a match between muskie maniacs and midwest muskie hunters. Steve I also am going to count this sunday as a match between muskie maniacs and whistlepeckers as I tried to set up a match numerous times through pms and emails, with no response. We only have 2 weeks left and this is my last week off till end of september. Thanks muskie maniacs.

Ski Patrol, team Pace-T can fish this weekend sometime. Are we able to use that as a match day and you can fish next Thurs. We both could request items or get them from each other. Does that work for you?

I went 3-0 in pool 3 with 9 fish. I am ready to fish this weekend if we get the matchups. aka Musky maniacs Steve has the pictures of the first 3 fish from my 1st match and the other 3 fish with the bottle in my mouth was a double match. Thanks Joe

My 9 fish were 30,34,34,34,34.5,34.5,34.5,35.5,and37. The second 3 fish day was a double match,so they get counted twice.

Playoff Rounds:

On September 16, the winner of each pool will advance to the playoff rounds. From this point forward all matches are head-to-head, with the winner advancing to the next round. The bracket pairings for matches will be determined by seeding the teams according to total fish points scored in pool play rounds. The number of teams involved will determine dates for the playoff rounds.

During the playoff rounds, rematches will be allowed until one team wins. If neither team is able to win the match before the end of the time allowed, total points from all pool play matches will determine the winner.
