| I am heading up to the Hayward area and was wondering if anyone could give me any thoughts on fishings these lakes. Not looking for any secret spots, just are these waters worth fishing for muskies? Are they clear or stained lakes? Any info would be appreciated. I am not looking for trophy fishing but more of an action type. Please reply back or PM. Thanks

| Both are good lakes for action and you still have a shot at a big fish. Barber the clarity changes almost daily, there are no incoming waterways to it, it is all spring fed, and one day it will be clear, the next day like a green cloudy. Good lake thouigh. Lake of the pines has a brown tint to it, but still kinda clear. same as barber, good actions, but still have a legit shot at a big fish.
Good luck,
