i think most people can agree that the spoon is looked at as the number one producer of northern pike. im not saying it is and really dont want to hear your personal opinion on your favorite pike lures
but i never hear guys say a spoon is my go to bait or i just bought a bunch of new spoons for muskie season
just wondering if theres guys out there banging musky with red and white daredevils, firetiger, or 5 of diamonds

I really like blue and silver as my personal preference for pike. I also think the castmaster is an under utilized pike bait. I also like to fish pike with a nice minnow underneath a bobber. Not to mention stinky smelt on a tip up for pike through the ice!

Funny how we get away from really good baits. but they are still really good baits! The Johnson Silver minnow and a twister tail is awesome for early season muskie! Opening weekend on LOTW will be here in a couple weeks. Guess what I will be throwing!

My buddy caught a mid 40's on a large size orange with black spot daredevil while fishing pike over memorial weekend. He caught multiple pike over 30" that day and 2 smallies pushing the 20" mark. I think spoons don't get the respect they deserve anymore because they are an "old school lure".
