Location: Lebanon,Mo | Im not for sure how to go about this, but we have a Muskie Inc. member that lives in Joplin,Mo and everything he owned is now gone due to the massive EF-5 that formed just west of town and stayed on the ground right through town. The devistation is unreal.Anyway, his musky equipment is gone and im looking for a few donations of new/used items i could present to him in about a month after things settle down. His name is Luke Miller and has been a member for several years and has won the Pomme de Terre Tournament a few times.I want to keep this on the down low because he has no idea im putting this together.I have a few baits and leaders for him right now from myself.Below is a list of items he might need later on when there life is back together. If you wish to donate, please put your name/email on a sheet of paper if you send something so i can put eveyone on a card so he knows who donated.Thank you.... Fred

Below is pictures we took, but doesnt do any justice. This was a EF-5 on the ground for only seven miles and appx. 3/4 of a mile wide.5 miles was through the heart of town.Hospital is in the background of the third picture and the white van belonged to a couple over 2 blocks away.Deadliest single tornado ever recorded and there are still over 200 people missing.
#### UPDATE ####
As of 9:10 tonight(May 28) if everyone i have talked to comits to what they are sending,we will have enough baits and a tackle box. What we need is terminal tackle, hooks, splitrings, leaders(flouro and jerkbait),braided line(65lb & 80Lb). I will have some of this stuff and will provide a plano box to put this stuff in.Thank you eveyone, and if you didnt hear from me,please pm me again.I will keep everyone updated as things progress.

I'm a gonna end up broke one of these days, but what the heck, life is too short and I am what I am so count me in for two new customs.
I have to start keeping a list so even I know what I'm doing these days. OLD AGE, I hate it. Is there REALLY a fountain of youth? |

| What's Muskie Inc doing to help? Is the local chapter involved at all?
You may want to contact someone at the Pomme de Terre chapter via their web site.....
http://www.missourimuskies.org/
Perhaps they could put something on their wed site to help out. Just an idea....

| Fred,
I live in Italy. I would like to help Luke but I'm afraid that if I send to you something, you have to pay customs fees.
Is there a solution?

Im not for sure about fee's,but at this point we should have more than enough items for Luke.Being that you are more than willing to help is worth more than you sending some items from Italy.Thank you for your support!! |

If you send couple lures as a gift, it shouldn't be any custom fee. I received up to 5 jerkbaits from Europe multiple times and never had a problem so far.

Location: Netherland | Dear Fred,
From Your last update i,ve noticed that you are still looking for a Hanging tacklebox.
To send a hanging tacklebox all the way from holland is way to expencive.
If you could please let me know wat the charges are for a hanging tacklebox in your area.
i,ll be happy to pay you the charges back.
Best regards,
Wil Hendrix |
