Location: Eau Claire, WI | Wondering if anyone has spent time fishing rock walls in dark water flowages? In my area, there are a few impoundments of the coffee dark chippewa river that have these structures. I've never really tried to fish them so curious if anyone has something to say on the matter?
Are walls productive in these types of systems?
What makes a "great" wall vs. a poor one?
Are there times of year when these structures shine?
Does water depth play a factor?
Are there other location aspects that make these more or less productive? (travel lanes, channel related, etc.)
How do you fish them?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks,
Jono
