Subject: Jigging??


Hey guys,
just wondering about using jigs for musky. What are some good jigs? Also what are some other good ways to catch cold water musky, because I hate jigging? Thanks alot guys.

I like using 1oz to 3/4oz jig heads with an 8" reaper tail for pike.....ive heard that works well for musky too

I have used Bass jigs with some success. Either Gary Yamamoto 4 or 5" twin tailed hula grubs (spidergrubs) or Berkley 4" Powergrubs. I've hooked fish very deep (40') or very shallow with them. Quite often I have had luck throwing them up against the base of a submerged tree.
