| I would like information about the lures in the pics please. Some look like old smitys. I know they are at least 15-20 years old (the guy who owned them passed away that long ago). I bought them and would like to know more about them. Any thoughts? |

Smitty Baits are still being made today by Russ "Smitty" Smith in Minocqua WI. He gets a lot of help these days from his son Jake. I can remember my 1st Smitty baits that was purchased at the Madison Fishing EXPO in 1985 or 86. Got two 6" jerkbaits for $5. One Sucker color and one Perch. I got a ride from the hotel to the Chicago Muskie Show earlier this year. Great folks. I hope to book them as both guide for muskies in the Northwoods of WI. |
