| Some members of the St. Cloud Chapter of Muskies Inc. will be up at the Ponderosa Resort on Lake Wabedo this coming weekend. Anyone else going to be in the area? Feel free to stop by for a cold one. Will be in a green and white Crestliner 1850- Muskie Edition.

How goes it this year? Been catching a few fish lately?
I might be up that way this weekend, but not to fish. We're moving the RV trailer up to my in-laws on a lake about five miles fom Wabedo. So, next year I'll be spending a bit of time on Wabedo and a few other lakes in that area.
I fished Tonka yesterday with the Captain. I had the one good bone-crushing hit, but the big fish charged the big CJs spinner bait and I couldn't get the slack pulled up in time for a good hook-set. Such is fishing, eh?

I talked to your fishing partner at the Little Boy ramp this morning. Did you do any damage on the lake you were going to on Sunday? I was planning on heading there at least once this week.
You did better then me on Saturday after I talked to you. I saw four but couldn't get any to go. I was out on Little Boy for a few hours on Sunday morning and saw just one.

I boated a 34" at the lake on Sunday. Not huge, but still fun. Saw 2 other BIGGER fish, but they wouldn't eat. All fish came up on a Suick. Good luck if you get out there this week. They have really been going lately. At least they were before the cold and wind. [;)] |
