| just wondering if some of you guy's could share some tips on how you foil a lure ?
what type's of foil?
how do you attach?
how do you put the scale patterns in the foil?
thanks alot for any help, i'm just looking to try some different avenues for my lures and have always been intrigued by the excellent foil jobs i have seen on here.

Location: Detroit River | You can use standard aluminum foil or the various foil wrapping paper found in craft stores. Use a spray adhesive such as Elmer’s or 3M (expensive $12 & up) to stick it to the lure. There’s also aluminum foil tape that’s thinner than the standard foil.
To put a scale pattern on the foil you can use the various mesh materials & place it over/under the foil & use something smooth like a pen or marker & roll it over the foil to make the imprint of the pattern. You can use a straight edge or stencil to scribe a scale pattern on the foil as well.
