My 334i went dead on me and I'm being told that it can't be fixed. Perfect. I was told that it may qualify for an "upgrade". I assuming I'd get credit towards another unit. Does anybody know what the deal is on this? I have to call customer service this week to find out, but was wondering if anyone has gone through this.

Location: Kodiak, AK		I depends based on who you talk to at Lowrance. It can range from "sorry" to "we'll not fix your 334, but we have a refurbed 334 here we'll send you with no warrantee," to "we have a 520 here we'll send you," to "we'll sell you an HDS5 for $XXX," to "we'll give you $50/$100/$250 off a new HDS..." It's hard to say. Call them.
