| Its nearing the middle of Sept now kids....the nights are getting colder and the days cooler....the big girls will soon be coming shallow again....its FALL TROPHY TIME NOW!!! Question for you: how goes the season so far, and whats the (realistic) goal for the rest of the year!!!??
My season started HOT, 16 fish in 10 days (40, 41.5, 41.5, 43.5 [27lbs+?]) and I've been ICE COLD since the middle of MAY...missed about 7 in a row now, biggest pushing 50"!!!! Have a goal of bringing my present total of 17 fish to 30 before the ice cometh in December!!! Not putting a size goal out there personally, but my hooks draw blood just looking at them, so if Mrs. Big decides to bite, she's gonna get hurt, if not that planned photo session!!!

| Not been too bad. Driving farther to fish so I am fishing less than I have in years previous but it is paying off. 20 for me and 41 in the boat this year. Biggest is 45". Not bad for one day a week. | |

| Slamr,
I am thinking everyone else is doing the same thing I am by not responding. It's not that we're being rude, more that I don't want to jinx my fall...lol

| Slamr, 17 in the boat so far with a 46 being the largest. Unfortunately being in the ag industry the next month is my busiest at work and I will only get out an occasional day or two[:((] . Hopefully after the initial mad rush at work I will find time to split in my treestand and boat and put some of those late season fatties on film.[] | |

| Best season for me to date with 67 in the boat with 46 for myself. Overall size is way up from last year when (other than my dads 49.5) my biggest fish was a 45"er in Oct.
This year has seen 13 fish between 45.5 and 51".
I love this time of year and I wish this week could last a whole month, cool nights warm days, and awesome surface action. Dad lost his heaviest fish ever last night after it followed my Hellraiser to the boat. The fish swam out, and dad fired a directional cast that must have hit it on the snout, cause she sucked it in on the first crank. We had her to the jon boat three times before she made a meaneauver of sorts, flipped headshook, clicked her hiils and gone. It was a fish in the 4-foot range, but the girth was what caught us off guard. Ironically, my friend caught a 46.5"er with a 22.5" girth right in that very spot last Oct. Maybe it was she, who knows. I then lost a 42-44 on a lelure just after dark on an l-turn while B.Sing and not paying enough attention DOGHHHH. Lost another on a sucker that we had on for quite a while and never saw, but she eventually threw the whole rig.
Just love this time of year.

| Slamr, you don't want to know. All I can tell you is I already surpassed my totals from last year.
17 fish in my boat last 4 days alone . [:p]

| I've have boated 0 legals this year so far, but have caught 2 30 inchers and one 3 incher. I am hoping things will pick up soon, but I am not counting on it. | |

| Schuler, don't get discouraged. Fish the lake I told you about more and you will score a decent fish. What you really need is to spin those wheels on your jeep and venture my friend. Venture, venuture, venture. Better venues await you. In time you will be hooking up with fish as the norm.[:)] | |

| Things have been really crazy! 171 muskies so far this year a 46" is the biggest. | |
