Location: Lino Lakes, MN | The North Metro Chapter of Muskies Inc has had one for about 15 years. I don't know the status of this years leage.
I checked out their website and found this info on last year.
"North Metro Muskie League 2010
Tuesday June 8th Bald Eagle Lake
Tuesday June 15th Chapter Picnic
Thursday June 17th Lake Independence
Tuesday June 22rd Forest Lake
Tuesday June 29th White Bear Lake
Tuesday July 6th Lake Minnetonka
Tuesday Aug. 10th Forest Lake
Tuesday Aug 17th Bald Eagle Lake
Tuesday Aug. 24th Lake Independence
Scoring
4 points for a 30” muskie and 1 point for each inch over 30”. This is the same as the member’s only contest.
3 points per event fished.
Bonus:
2 points will be awarded for a partner during each league night event and partners do not have to be members. 4 points will be awarded if the partner is a new member of the chapter in 2009. Each partner only counts one time during the league. You may only count one partner per event but you can fish more than 2 people in a boat.
How to claim your points:
Please log on to the North Metro web site at www.nmmuskies.com, and go to the message board area where you will find a forum for the 2010 League. Post your name, partner’s name, what lake you fished, and the length of any muskies caught. Please report any event fished within two weeks of the event. Standings will also be posted in the message board area as often as possible. Please contact me at [email protected] This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you have any questions about league night.
Hours: 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm June and July, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in August.
1st place Chapter jacket and hat
2nd place Chapter sweatshirt and hat
3rd Place Chapter shirt and hat
4th Place Chapter hat
5th Place Chapter hat
League night is open to everyone but only members in good standing can win. The league is a fun night out with other chapter members and is a great way to meet other muskie fishermen and make friendships. The best part is that the league is FREE.
Thanks and good luck this year!

This is from last year
It is a great time- You set your schedule and just fish. It gets intersting as guys start to catch a few fish and then the partner points and such start to really come in to play.
I ran the league for 10 years and it is an On your honor basis for the reporting.
Good Luck

I will be looking into the Twin Cities Chapter myself at there May 10th meeting. They meet in Bloomington close to my home in Richfield. I have met a few of the members and veryone seems pretty cool.
Here is a link to there site

I have also talked to a few of the members when they had there booths at the MN Expo and up at Thornes. It seemd like a great group of people. So I will heading there just to see what goes on before I make the decision to join or not.

| Great group. Go to a meeting and see. What's the worst thing that could happen? You make some new friends, help the resource, and become a better fisherman. |
