Location: WI | A friend of mine was looking at getting this reel to use on a sucker rod. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this reel? I thought these were the made in China reels that wre not as good as normal. The local gander has them for 25% off so he can get it pretty cheap but if will only last a season or two it might not be worth it.

Location: Contrarian Island | imo they are not that well made....go with an okuma convector 20 size line counter for a sucker reel...i use those and they work great,,,65 bux on ebay |

Location: Hugo, MN | Yeah, sucker rod or not, that reel will not last long. Okuma Convectors on my trolling/ sucker rods. Good bang for the buck. |
