Anyone ever fish this lake near Hayward? Any feeback would be greatly appreciated. My email is [email protected] if you prefer that.

Thanks,

Bryan

The wife and I used to frog around on that lake for Muskies about 12 years ago. Neat little lake, that we accessed by paying an elderly lady to back the boat in between her docks. It almost fished like a miniture version of its big sister down there road, with its varied structure, and isolated deep water. The lake hasn't been stocked in decades as far as I am aware, so anything there would be natural. We never had a ton of action, but it was a nice place to duck into when too windy on the bigger area ponds. Again, I don't believe there is public access other than a carry in off the road, but perhaps you know someone on the lake....

i have always wanted to fish this lake but no access. my father in law has fished it and use to get access from a resort that we think closed as we went once and place was all locked up. Do you have another way to access this lake? Launching off the road it says that you cant park anywhere around there so im not sure how you do that. would like to slip in as we vacation up there. thanks.

Thanks for the input. I am renting a place on the lake so I will have access to it. I'm not staying there until September but I hope it turns out to be a good lake. I was intrigued by the "no public access" on this lake. Can't be too many musky lakes out there without access.

Thanks,

Fun lake to fish. Never saw anything huge there, but have had lots of action from fish 35"-40". You'll mark pods of stunted bluegills on your graphs and there are tons of hammer handle pike in there. Silver bladed bucktails were my best bait on this lake.
