| do you have any video of those sweet lures? |
|
|
|
| Wow this thread is from last spring. No, sorry, I don’t have any video of them yet. I tried to capture some over the summer but it didn’t turn out good enough. Maybe over the winter I’ll get something worked out and put it up on my website. The action is a dive and rise jerkbait with some wiggle. I haven’t sold that many but the feedback has been very positive from those who have tried it. Thanks |

| Howdy Capt, thank you for the feedback! I’m glad they worked out well for you! Let me know if you’d like any other colors or more baits. I’m sure Stan could come up with something custom too. Where you working/jerking the baits when trolling or just pulling them? Thanks and Merry Christmas to you too! I pulled one of the video’s we attempted to make off my camera. It’s not that good at all and for some reason most of it is in slow motion – lol We need to get better at this. I’m not sure of the policy or how to get a video on here, but I just put it on facebook if anybody wants to check it out. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/profile.php?id=100002031510630 Thanks |

Location: On the Niagara River in Buffalo, NY | Mike,Long line trolling on the deep setting,150 ft back, rod hand held pull 2ft slow folowed by fast drop back, fish would hit at the end of the drop back.Usualy along wed bed edges, but did catch 1 out over deep open water.Casting I worked straight down 2 ft jerks at slow pace, reel 3 cranks, repeat 2 ft jerk for best action. The sucker color caught all the fish! I like the looks of the walleye color too! Everyone should have a couple MDR Choppers close by in their boat!

Location: Black Creek, WI | I caught a few fish on the MDR Chopper this season too. Gotta say, it has replaced the need for a 9" Suick in my boat! Solid plastic is much more durable and consistent than Pine. |

+1 This thing will get used a lot next year. Great dive/rise action with a lot of nice wiggle on the pause. Bait also wiggles and rolls on the jerk which triggers strikes. |

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | Hi Guys, Capt. Larry always puts the baits to the test. He is the man whom tested my very first custom colors and with great results. I have a few customs I will be painting and sending his way as his original purple daze and Jone's Dream is well worn out from what I hear. Merry Christmas Capt. Larry.
I have healed up very well from Bypass Surgery and walk 4 mile a day and have been jogging last three weeks. Started back painting slowly but starting to go full swing again. I was a very lucky man and Doc has given me an all clear.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.

| Hey Stan, I’m glad your recovery is going so well, sounds like you’re in better shape than me right now! Thanks again for the great patterns, you’ll also be glad to hear that some of the guides using them have reported that they are impressed with how well the paint is holding up. So we’re getting a really good adhesion and the top coat shines great too. Glad to hear you’re back in the shop again, I can’t wait to see some more of those chrome/prism patterns you’ve been playing around with ;) Yeah, Capt Larry is quite the fisherman and I’m really grateful for his feed-back. I’m glad he likes the lures, but the guy could probably catch a musky with a hotdog on a hook lol. Jlong, Doug_Kloet, and Jasonvkop, thank you for the feedback! I’m glad you guys like them! |

| Wow that sounds like an awesome trip Capt. Larry! Good luck and please take lots of pictures! I’ve always wanted to do a trip like that, hopefully someday. Maybe that perch pattern will work well down there. I have a dolphin trip tentatively planned for south Florida in the spring and I’ve been practicing a few dorado paint patterns for the Chopper. So far it looks like someone just puked in the ocean lol, maybe Stan has done one before? Have a good trip!

Wish I had known about your up coming trip a while back. I would have worked up a couple special colors for that trip. Have fun and good luck.

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | Capt Larry knows his custom colors Jeff, That is Jones Dream.. That was Capt. Larry's idea and I just made it happen. It is a fish catcher as you found out.
Capt. Larry. I have a pre-Drifter Lil Ernie in "Secret Color" on my drying rack right now that will be on it's way to you as soon as I finish the rest of the stuff I am sending up to you.
Good luck in Guyana, nail a beast.
