I understand that other holidays are more culturally accepted...but having gotten to know many of the guys here...I wanted to be sure to share Easter tidings. Some tradgic events have taken place in the lives of some muskie fishermen in the last year...today makes all the difference. Happy Easter!

+1 to this.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, I hope everyone finds sometime today to spend with family and friends.  And as you're biting the head off your chocolate bunny and getting ham-drunk, I hope we can all take a moment and remember the true meaning of this holiday.

Happy Easter, you guys!

John 11:25-26 - "Jesus said,'I am the resurrection & the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives & believes in me will never die.'"

Ham and various side dishes for brunch, short game practice in the afternoon with my daughter. It doesn't get any Easterier than that.

The only thing the writer would rather do than set down the trolling motor at the start of a big Musky trip is to perform his real job...

As a full time ordained pastor the writer has the privilege of proclaiming today to a church full of people, "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" I Corinthians 15:3-4

Fellow Musky fisherman-- have a blessed resurrection Sunday---Praying that you would all believe the message.

Happy Easter to all. We started a new family tradition on that if the MN twins are at home on Easter we will spending eating foot long hot dogs instead of ham.

TO the wife and the 3 gorls to the game today and we all had a blast. Momma agrees that after the fun we had we should make it a yearly tradition prviding they have a home game on this day!!!!!!

The best part was the twinkies won as well!!!! Icing on the cake to a beautifull day with the family!!!

Hope everyone had as great of a day as we did!!!
