I've spent some time today trying to make a suspending
Super Shad Rap.After 1.5 hrs I'm at a 6/0 snag hook on
the front and a 4/0 unweighted on the back.Has anyone ever
drilled one out for an oil shot ? Are they hollow or are
they dipped balsa.All help appreciated..........
Its not too big or too small, could be the perfect size
to throw on pressured waters ,like that secret muskie lake
west of Chicago..
Secret to 2 million ............
thanks ,dennis

they are two halves of balse glued together and they have lead inserted just above the belly hookhanger. I will try to add a picture of an X-ray later. My efforts to make a sinking to suspending supershadrap have worked so far: drill two holes, one left of the belly line + one right of the belly line but opposite to eachother, and fill it with lead. One other method was drilling a hole directly above the belly hookhanger and all the way through to the leadweight inserted above the belly hookhanger. Then add lead as desired and close up with epoxy-glue.
