| Sorry, I don't get to do much on the water Musky research down here in Florida, but my folks live on the lake in MN...
I've read some say that jointed spinners are good. I'm wonderin g why? From other lure building experience I have 2 guesses: 1) It might somehow balance off torque from large blade. or 2) The joint helps to keep a fish from throwing the bait as easily.
Am I close? Should weight go on one side of joint or both? Does it affect spinner "action"? At what ""point" in a bucktail should the joint be placed.
I think I first read about it in a Musky Hunter article about a "big Darla" spinner, and I've been curious ever since!
