Hello boys,

Hopefully one of you will know what this means as I can't find anything solid in the instruction manual. So when I plugged in my charger today to charge the trolling motor battery, the charger was blinking between the yellow (charging) and green (charged or maintenance). From the manual, it looks like it couuuuuld be that the battery is almost charged, and will then go to the green light for maintenance mode. However based on what I read, I'm not positive.

Any of you guys have experience with this and know what it means? It's an AGM battery and is 2 years old (going on its third season this year) so it should still be in good shape. I charged it before putting it away this winter, and plugged it in every month or so throughout the winter.

I have a pro mariner charger that exhibited the same behavior. Called their service number and they told me when the batteries are really drained the charger will go into a pulse mode. Hence the blinking lights. Left my charger on overnight and it was operating normally the next morning. Cant be %100 sure but sounds very similar.

That seems to have worked. I left it on, and it seems fine now. Must have been a little low over the winter. I wonder if I didn't plug it into the outlet and just plugged the cords in. DOH!
