Guys,

I just rec'd a Marv's spinnerbait with an orange blade.
I wanted to gold blade and can return.

Can anyone tell me if they have luck with an Orange Blade?
Pro's/Con's versus the gold?

Thanks

PS: I fish Metro lakes and mainly Tonka.

Tahoe,

Buddy,if you fish Bald Eagle or Forest Lake you have a great bait on your hands. I wouldn't even bother with it on the big T but then I never fish it......it's to clear and purtty for my taste.

PK

Looks like it's back into the loch with you nessy

If the water is dark the orenge blade will be hot!
Clear water the gold blade would be a better pick.

Can't you replace the blade with the snap swivel?

that's what I do on my marv's tandem spin. I turned it into a single spin and I change blades according to the water clarity AND weather conditions. If it's clear water but dark skies I add an orange blade, sunny and clear water chartreuse blade. Changing overcast/sunny with clear water I use hammered brass blades, cold weather nickle blades. Thank god for snaps or my wallet migth have had a HUGE hole in it if I had to buy all of these lures to get the color of blades I wanted. []

Son of a gun, it has a snap swivel. Gotta go out and get some blades!

I got the single spin since most of my collection are double willow models!

Thanks Guys!

Gold blades, gold blades, gold blades, did I say gold blades. Especialy if you fish Lake of The Woods, but I have done good on High Falls, Kinkaid, and even Cave Run, over the past five years. I always have one out of the box ready to throw. Good Fishing, Al[]

Tahoe,
You'll like those Marv's spinnerbaits. I fish them alot. In fact I just bought a white to fish on Tonka.

I love those spinnerbaits, run true and slow roll better then anyone I have used.

You made a good choice. I must own at least 15 of those spinnerbaits and many are chewed up and thats a good thing.[;)]
