Metro Lakes, what are you guys seeing out there?

I have fished numerous lakes in the area and I am looking to fish a new lake this fall, just for a change of scenery. Bone lake in Wisconsin was pretty good when I was there 3 times in July. We raised about 6 fish total and caught a 40" fish that was pretty skinny. Deer was ok as well, we saw lots of fish, but nothing was interested enough to attack. Lake Calhoun has done nothing for me yet this year, I keep hearing good things, but have not boated any fish. I have yet to get out to Tonka this year, the boat traffic hasn't really slowed yet, I am sure this fall it will be great. Has anyone fished Lake Waconia? I have heard good things about this lake, and I am moving to the area, so I will be close and able to fish it often if it is a good producer of Musky. Let me know how the rest of you have been doing lately. If you are looking for a fishing partner I have a boat loaded up ready to go almost every night. Later guys,

Remember to practice catch and release so that these fish continue to grow into trophies!!!! Let em'grow let em' go!

Tonka is on! Boat traffic is getting much better....In about 2 weeks, the lake will be all ours!

Have not fished Waconia, but always here good things about it! That is going to be the next lake I try!

It's a good lake. You need to spend some time on it. I lik it on a warn late fall day fishing the edges of any of the reefs.
