Are any of the Bauers still making creepers, or any wood baits, or even around anymore?

thanks

Call hayward bait or tackel, or pasticas. They will know who in the area is making baits. Lots of guys making buckttails and ive heard of a few that are making wood baits but i dont know their names. Steve Gensen at pasticas would know.

I am looking at a globe type topwater still in the package that is made by Bauer Baits. I think it is the company you are looking for. On the back it says Ross Tackle Co. They are in Crystal Lake, IL (about 10 mins from where I live) I am certain they are out of business. I called the phone number and looked online- Nothing. Hope this helps. Tom

Try Jenks, he usually has some custom topwaters in his store and might be able to point you in the right direction for custom creeper if he does not have any.

Pastika's (715-634-4466) just got a shipment of Ryan Jinkerson's lures in yesterday, with several very nice creepers. To my knowledge, Bauer isn't making lures anymore.

Hey thanks Larry,
That was the main question, as to whether or not Bauers were making baits or not.

Actually not looking for a creeper but appreciate the info from several.
thanks,

Glad I yanked a couple out of his garage before he sent the shipment...

Ross Tackle Co. Inc. was sold to a family in Crystal Lake, Il. Who has since sold to Bobbie Baits. Hope this helps.
