| Anyone been using one of the ET trolling rods? Hold up well? I've seen the posts regarding braid through metal guide tips, anyone know what kind of guides this rod uses? What about the backbone to tip ratio as in solid backbone with a softer tip?

| The tip guide is a Carbaloy tip so you are not going to wear through it, then again any decent guide should never show signs of wear due to the use of braid. Not sure what you mean by backbone to tip ratio - never heard it described like that before. But yes it has a good, solid backbone and a softer tip like a trolling rod should have. | |
