Hello,

I am going on my first musky trip this year (live in the netherlands) what lures are an absolute must for V? Any color preferences? I'm going in july.

Thanks a lot,

This is just me, but if I was making a trip all the way from the Netherlands for my first time fishing musky, I would definitely hire a guide.

The amount you have to pack for the trip is reduced since you'd be using there tackle, you would be fishing on with someone who knows the lake, knows the patterns, and can help you adapt/learn. At the very least, I would hire a guide for at least one day, just to get some insight.
