Location: Drachten (The Netherlands) | Hi there, I just finished an order for 16 'Midgettails'. A small jerkbait based on the Midget Fat Flipper from Ace Lures. They messure 4" and weigh 1,5 oz. I've filmed the action of the jerkbaits and I will upload it to youtube tomorrow.
I do use spraycans, I stil refuse to buy an airbrush.... I hope you like them!!!!

Hi there Derk!!! Thanks... you make me humble!!!
Thanks for the compliments guys! Unfortunately I did film with my iPhone in 'portret' and not in 'landscapeposition'. I will make some new ones soon and will reply here when I have.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Dick, How about uploading the video here at upload.outdoorsfirst.com? The file will be uploaded exactly as it is edited so if it's 720p, it plays 720p, and can be embedded and linked anywhere with no watermark. |

Love the video, those are sweet!! Video stater 3.3 inches and 1.85 oz? Looks almost like they are neutrally buoyant, or do they have a slow sink?
Love your work, cool,cool

Thanks! I checked and the video states 1.35 oz (38 grams).... Because these are original Midgets, I can't get the action of all exactly the same. Some have a bit longer glide, some are slow sinkers, some are neutrally buoyant... but all within a small margin.
Ace doesn't make the wooden Midgets anymore.... they are now made in plastic by the Sledgehammer Lure Company for them, under the name Hammer Glide. Because I want to continue making Midgettails, I have 'copied' the model and will make them myself. That way I am in total control of how they are weighted and that they all have the action and sinking rate I choose.
Greetz,
Dick
