Sorry but this is too funny not to post. BTW, I'll be sending the Gov a "Know the Difference" card...

His dichotomy is a bit off. I won't judge him until the stadium decision is made.

Well, come on - I can see the confusion. It's a fish, it's big, it's ugly. One would think, though, that if you wanted to catch one your entire life that you might be able to identify one if you saw it.

I have a new Loomis Asian carp rod model 6xx.
I have a new St. Croix reel spooled with 80 pound power pro line.
I will spend the next 10 years following the Migration of the Asian Carp.
I have sold my wifes car to finance my quest.
The World record Asian carp is waiting for me in the Rivers of Illinois.
I will be as famous and Louis Spray and Calvin Johnson.
Jim Saric will put me on his television show.
It might take all of the ten years to catch the World record Asia carp.
I have a Visa Credit card to pay for my expenses.
I have quit my job to catch the world record Asian carp.
I am now a Professional Asian carp fisherman and demand that Ranger boats build me an Asian carp boat and sponsor me.
I will become more famous than Larry Dalbergs hunt for big fish when I catch the World record Asian carp.
I am living the dream in search of the world record Asian Carp.
John Detloff will put me in the Carp fishing hall of Fame.
Larry Ramsell will write a symposium of my adventures.
I will become , THE MOST INTERESTING FISHERMAN IN THE WORLD.

Actually, if there was a way to fish these things aside from snagging them I think it'd be fun as hell.

Sounds like he's wanted to catch a Muskie his whole life, good thing. And once he does he'll never mistake the 2 again.

Mike, your gunna make me have to watch that striper video again lol. Funny stuff.

Muskie fever is strong but when you lie awake thinking of those big sucker lips and spend all your money on snagging hooks and white catfish poles you know big head carp fever is even stronger... lol. In seriousness though I caught about 20 of them or so when I went to Missouri on a fishing trip and they fight hard and some even do some cool jumps. Lot of fun but it just sucks they mess up so much for our native species.

I think they should let you skeet shoot them off the back of the boat. 2 people on swivel seats....one takes from the outboard right and the other from the left, that way no one gets hurt. Turtles have to eat.......
