| Some boats just do what ever they want. Recently this boat just came pushing his way in and all of the fishermen had to fish elsewhere. Sponge,Slamr,Jason-what can we do?[:((] |

| Get a bigger boat. |

| Rats, my "bounce a jackpot off their hull" is not going to work in this case.

| High Powered paint ball gun with two drums of ammo with 500 rounds each. Start shooting when they come in range and don't quit till they are out of range. Chances are their boat needs a new paint job anyway. [] |

| I was going to suggest a roman candle, but in this case a bazooka might get their attention. [] |

| Whatever you do, don't challunge him to a game of "chicken."[:0]
At least it wasn't throwing the wake they do at full power. We almost took water over the bow years ago in a Lund Tyee! |

| More info. is needed to solve this...was it a pleasure craft or another fisherman...were they fishing musky or other "less desirable species"... one of my worse or better (depending on situation) qualities is the fact that I can "lay in the mud" until dark if need be; better translated as STUBBORN...stupid, perhaps but I'll stay the course until they move or it's time for lunch + stick close to them while singing or talking to meself. But if you have a client(s) you did the right thing...I guess![:0]
***I just realized there was a pic. attached...just hope you don't get pinned against it! I'd start river fishing...it wasn't a Green Peace rig was it?[:0] |

| Second attempt to cut and paste a pic to my solution to this problem....
If you have a microscope you can see that my solution is to this age old problem is simple:
-lob volkswagon sized high-explosives across the bow for a short amount of time(generally one near miss from a full broad side)....
-if this solution does not deter the offender from further rudeness.....
-stop missing, creating structure at the bottom for better fishing in the future.
*for safety's sake, please inform the occupants of the offending vessel of your intensions as to reducing their water borne transportation to fish habitat....let them at least have the chance to go to the life-boats, contrary to popular belief, Muskies are not attracted to human chum
(ok, that last part was nasty, sorry, its early)

| By the looks of the photo it seems that he came from your left side, and should of given you the right of way. By the looks of the size of his vessal compared to yours, I would have given him the right of way! |

| Slamr I was thinking of the pic you uploaded this winter. Your water patrol boat, remember your new job patroling the big carp pond and other metro lakes. This pic was from the main gap in Milwaukee. Size does matter. He with biggest boat wins. |

| For the single shot deterrent I would recommend a small yield tactical nuke launched from a Tomahawk. Of course, for those without this rather high bucks option any old water skipping antiship missle might work...the old proven Exocet's are reasonably priced nowadays. Where to go???
Why...Osama's Midnight Ordnance Supply right here in downtown....well we won't say just now. Just look for the smiling Osama.....

| Mike:
I used to have that very same problem when fishing the Chesapeake Bay.
Handled it in exact fashion as you, just fished somewhere else. Was able to take solace in those immortal Clint Eastwood words, "A man HAS to know his limitations!" |

| You are RIGHT Mike,
The boats just get bigger and bigger on Pewaukee, Whats next air craft carriers.
How many rod holders did they have that rig?[] |
