I build my own spinner baits. Now I am searching for an uncut silicone foil because I will cut the strips wider than normal. I will cut it to a wide of about 3-5 mm or more. Is here someone who know a source for uncut silicone foil for skirt making? I need it in sheets or rolls. Here are some examples:
The body of the grub is very long. So I use a flexible connection between the hook and head. I weld the hook to a 7x7 stainless steel leader with about 115 lbs. I weld the leader to the wire and then I poured the head. The head is powder coated. The body of the grub reach the head and so stiff the connection. The eye for the swivel is welded, too. This give a very "smooth" solution. You get no tangle or lost your spinner blade.
