I bought a used LMS 520C and was curious what Puck I need. I checked the LEI Extras website and they have one listed for $249.00. Do they have a cheaper version or is this the only one? Thanks for the help.

The LGC-3000 is the puck that unit used to come with, but they don't make it anymore. If you want something cheaper, check EBay for one. The LGC-4000 will be faster and will get serviced if for some reason you might have a problem.

I'd check your local sporting goods stores for an LGC-3000. I know my local Gander has a few left they are selling for $149. The LGC-3000 won't be as fast as the 4000, but it works just fine. You'll still have a 1 year warranty on a new 3000 puck as far as I know, too, but they'll likely just upgrade you to a 4000 if you have an issue. If you can't find one locally, let me know and maybe we can work something out. I plan on buying a spare this spring, could pick you one up as well.
