The usual week on Eagle, with a few days fishing in Presque Isle on the way up and back. It will be a far cry from most years, but we're lucky to be able to fish at all these days.

Will be heading to v again first week of august. I get one week a year out of WI and I keep saying I have to get back to LOTW...but I still go back to fight the crowds on V anyhow. Go figure. Okay in 2012 I AM going back to LOTW. Someone hold me to it.

New to the forum but I'll be on big V for opening weekend. I normally stick to the Metro lakes on opener but I can't pass up a free place to stay on big V! Chasing skis is chasing skis

Thinking of taking my daughter to Orr/ Pelican Lake when she gets out of school. No muskies, but tons of big gills and bass, Gotta give my back a break. I'd like to get back to Cass for the September cool-down. Always loved that lake.

Hoping I'm chosen as 1 of 14 golfers to play in a Ryder Cup type event in FL in mid-August. It's sponsored by a golf forum as well as Taylor Made and Callaway. There are lots of goodies involved, and it's being played at Reunion Resort on courses designed by Palmer, Nicklaus, and Watson. I'll know if I'm in March 15.

Trips? I'm afraid if gas hits that $5 mark, I won't be going to far from home.

Hopefully the gas prices will stabablize but if not I'm sure it will affect alot of fishermen big time. Kinda sad all the greed in the world now days.

I'm hoping for a week and four weekends in NE Wis, maybe making it out on the bay once or twice, and two weeks in Canada. BUT, with the way gas is rising now, we may have $5.00/gal gas or higher and there goes the trips. I doubt if it will get that high though. The entire world economy will collapse long before that and the price will come back down again.
