Subject: Moon phases


Can anyone explain how to figure out moon overhead and underfoot? Is it simply just midway between moon set and moon rise, and moon rise and moonset?

Location: Kodiak, AK		There's also several charts/websites/phone apps/calendars that list it so you don't even have to calculate it.

Location: Bloomington, IL		Anyone have any insight as to why the Major and Minot times on the http://solunarforecast.com/solunarcalendar.aspx website differ from the times in the tables of John Alden Knight's Solunar book?
