After careful winter consideration I have decided to try to start fishing Lake Tomahawk this upcoming year. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on the lake. I'm not looking for spots maybe just good lures, lure colors, depth ranges, or weed edge depths. Thanks for your help. If you don't want to post feel free to pm me.

I have only fished Lake Tomahawk twice. Bought a lake map and looked for good spots. Once up north, stopped in at Rollie & Helen's. The guys there gave us some tips on where to fish and what to use. We saw fish and lost a few and can't wait to get back. Fished Windy Point and saw my biggest musky there. Had it on and up to the boat and then it was gone. Sissy hookset on my part.

I got on it last Sep. for the first time and although we didn't see any fish thought it was awesome! Tons of water and every kind of structure you could imagine. I was wondering if theres any affordable lodging on the lake or very close to the landings? We put in off country club rd. and didn't care for the parking, is there any other places other than the one off 47? Thanks

Indian Mounds landing, north of LT off 47 or the town bay landing, behind the fire dept in town. Both nice landings, depends what part of the lake you are heading to.

New plan. Anyone got any recommendations for a good guide for Lake Tomahawk. I usually only have weekends free so they would have to be willing to show me how to deal with the boat traffic. Thanks

Lake Tomahawk is a really nice looking lake. Matter of fact the whole Minocqua chain is really nice looking. Probably the best fishing there is open water from opener to 2nd week in June. Find the ciscoe and you will find the muskie. After that I'd try something else.
