Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Anyone ever have a seal go bad on a hydraulic steering piston? Ive been told I have a bad seal and want to have an idea of what Im up against as far as repair cost? If I buy the seal kit is this something I can do at home? What experiences have you had? What have you paid for this repair? They are also attempting to wiegh the cost of repair/bech time invoveld vs straight up replacing the hayraluic piston with a completely new unit.

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Look back to 11/11/2010... This covers what your after, the seals are somewhat easy to change, but you need to bleed the lines when done.

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Pretty much all of them go at some point. I had mine done this year and I think it was around $300-$400. There are certain things I don't like to screw around with and the mechanism that keeps me going straight at 70mph is one of them. |
