I'm not familiar with Shimano, but I did a search and found the following. Looks like they have a form, etc.

I would be willing to look at them, and repair them for free. You pay shipping (and parts)

Reason being I clean reels on the side, and this would get the word out to the Muskie guys.

That's about what Shimano charges unless it's under warrantee.  I've been both carged and had it sent back for free; depending on what it was.  I'm using Dave's Reel Repair Service now...someone to talk to and deal with directly.

When you send them in, be sure to include a note or fill out their form TELLING them what you want done; don't just let them guess and try to figure out what to do.  It sounds like common sense, but I always hear about guys who send things in with no information about what they want done, then bitch and complain b/c something they may have thought was wrong wasn't to their liking when they got the reel(s) back.
