| Guys, we've started this club which is based out of the Middle Tennesse area. After only 2 meetings we have around 25 members, a P.O. Box address, tax code number, and bank account. And growing! We're interested in helping the T.W.R.A. in it's efforts to make Tennessee a "destination state" for Trophy Muskies. And we're always looking for new members that want to be part of a club of some good guys that love to Muskie fish and love the sport. We know the the state has made a deal with Kentucky to secure 2000 stockers per year. That's a fish an acre, (not counting re-production) for the Great Falls System. It's and exctiting time for the Muskie fishery here in Middle Tennessee and we are talking (as a club) about ways we can help keep it that way. Join us from the "ground floor" and help our efforts. Not to mention the fun of fellowship with like minded anglers. We have a monthly big fish pot set up and an end of year points contest also. This is designed to help raise money to help the state in it's efforts.
Tight Lines to All!

| Hey Hick,
After we put a hurting on the fish next week with the Keyes boys, I hope to stop by the clubs meeting and meet some of the guys. I think what you are doing is great, and keep it up. We did the same thing here in southern IL starting up the Shawnee Muskie Hunters just to inform people of not fishing for muskies in water over 80 degrees. It worked! See ya next week.

| Thanks Chad! That's a great point to bring up. Even though we have some cooler spring feed rivers, in the summer you still have to be careful in handling your fish. Surface temps (even on small rivers) can reach the high 70's and on our local lakes reach well above 80. We have several issues to work on as a club, mostly just reaching people with good sound logic concerning Muskies and what they eat. Looking forward to having you join our meeting. The floor will be yours to discuss anything you'd like.
Will have a pot of "beans" on the stove when you guys get here! uh. oh!

Great that Mid-Tennessee is starting a muskie club. That part of the world has some great muskie water. Working with the TWRA will only help things get better. They are really interested in doing things with muskies in Tennessee.
Interesting that Tennessee has lots of native muskie water In the south I feel that Tennessee has the best potential for muskies of any of the southern states
Clubs like this can only help folks (and the TWRA) become aware of the fish and it's potential.
Good work!

I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Tenn. this past year and I agree with you 100% Doug. Tenn. has huge potential with their muskies, not just at melton hill but the central part of the state where Dwayne fishes as well. I think its great that they are starting a Mid-Tenn. club.
