| How does everyone store their rods on a boat that doesn't accomodate rods over 7'6" and where do you put them when on the water? Looking into a deep-v, and it seems I'm going to be losing the rod storing advantages of my old boat. Just curious what everyone else does. |

Location: NorthCentral WI | I have a '87 bass boat with NO rod storage whatsoever. I just lay them between the seats with the rod tips resting up on the back deck. Once on the lake I either keep them tucked along the side rails or stand them up in a vertical rod holder. Hope that helps. |

Location: Hopefully on the water | I am lucky to have the storage on my current boat but many times do not put them in the rod locker when traveling unless it is rough out. Majority of the time I just have them laying on the front deck and set to one side for when I am fishing. In past boats I have had the rods the same way and some of the longer rods had stuck out past the side of the wind shield. Then you fish off the other side of the boat. |
