To be completely honest, not trying to tell you what to do, I checked in to making my own leaders previously and it ended up not being the best option in my opinion. I didn't like any of the leaders that I found on the market and wanted to make my own. While trying to locate supplies and pricing items for leader making, I ran across a guy on here John Bette. His name on here is muskihntr. He runs stealth tackle and makes awesome leaders. I use his flouro 200lb leaders and have never had an issue. He ties, glues, and crimps his leaders, so they will never come undone. I even had one rub on a tooth for an entire fight and the flouro held. His prices are so good, that you can't hardly even buy the materials to make one for what he charges for his. He will also make you any size and style you are looking for. Not trying to tell you what to do, just wanted to give you some food for thought. He is a super nice guy and will do what he can to help. Just tell him that Scott McAnally from Indiana ( cajun84 ) told you about him and he will do his best to help you get what you want. Good luck!
ridiculous period
give a try to moore,he is a fast shipper and he sell low quantities for everything you want for a low price.
it will cost you less than 5$ per leader, you will see you dont need a diploma to make some flawless leaders

| Look guys, not trying to start a big hissy fit over who makes the best leaders the cheapest. Just giving some food for thought for the guy as far as checking into buying leaders instead. There are alot of good leaders on the market now. I looked hard into making them and found this to be the best option for me. Just trying to help someone out. Sorry for causing an issue. |

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | Gander has Stealth's leaders priced way higher than any other retailer I have ever seen. By about $5 per pack last time I checked. Many places they are more than $5 cheaper. But if you're looking for components, some good sources have already been mentioned here. I also have good high quality snaps and swivels (any quantities you'd like) at Musky Tackle Online and I'm happy to take care of you with Pay Pal as well, which is what was mentioned here.
Thanks,
Aaron

Location: Southern MN | I ordered leader making supplies along with my other winter stock-up items from Aaron at MTO the other day; great prices and very fast shipping. I've used Stealth leaders and they're great as well. |
