To be completely honest, not trying to tell you what to do, I checked in to making my own leaders previously and it ended up not being the best option in my opinion. I didn't like any of the leaders that I found on the market and wanted to make my own. While trying to locate supplies and pricing items for leader making, I ran across a guy on here John Bette. His name on here is muskihntr. He runs stealth tackle and makes awesome leaders. I use his flouro 200lb leaders and have never had an issue. He ties, glues, and crimps his leaders, so they will never come undone. I even had one rub on a tooth for an entire fight and the flouro held. His prices are so good, that you can't hardly even buy the materials to make one for what he charges for his. He will also make you any size and style you are looking for. Not trying to tell you what to do, just wanted to give you some food for thought. He is a super nice guy and will do what he can to help.
