Has anyone used these for fishing applications. I have read things on hunting but nothing on fishing applications.

I have a pair and did not use them for fishing yet. I will be next year. I would assume they would work great for fishing. Where ever your eyes are focused on that is what is going to be recorded. So using them for fishing would be awesome.

I will using mine for fishing come May when walleyes open up. Then bass and then muskies!!!!!!!!!

If you do not have a pair I would say go out and get a paie. They work great!!!!

I played with a set for bow season and they are pretty cool and take pretty darn good video. They "point" the wrong way for bowhunting as they point where your face is facing, not where your bow is facing. THey would be cool for fishing though and will try them for that next year. They come with 4 sets of lenses and they're not bad but after using Costa's for the last several years they just don't seem to compare.

I got a pair this summer to try out for musky fishing. Couple things - frame did not fit well but I got used to them. They do come with several sets of lenses, I only used the dark sunglass set and as mentioned above, they are passable but not near as good as the good stuff. The two major drawbacks I had were one, activation time - it takes about 7-8 seconds after turning power on and turning video on before they start to record. That keeps you from getting a lot of action, especially when much of it comes on the 8 or boatside. Second thing is they don't have a mic, so there is no sound to go with the video. I didn't try it for bowhunting for the reason mentioned above - at least as far as recording the actual shot anyway - the glasses don't allow me to see through the peep properly and therefore are recording off to the side. Other than that they do work, but I'm going to look into the Action Cam stuff from Wildgame Innovations.

I got mine from the Midwest Deer Classic at the State Fairgrounds this summer from Capra's booth on the last day for $125. They were selling them there for $160 or 170 not sure.
