| Last weekend while the moms & grandma went shopping I had the pleasure of spending the day with two of my six grandaughters. They asked if they could paint a couple of baits for me. Why Not?? I think for a 5 yr old KD and a 7 yr old AJ they did quite well. Of course I had to do the clearcoating but they did the painting by hand and I think they did quite well for their first baits. Let me know what you think!! A topwater musky bait and a couple of walleye snaks.

Location: Land of the Musky | Love em! I painted my first spoon with my grandfather when I was about 4 or 5 and still have it in my tackle box. They will remember that time with you for life!

I tried with my daughter, which was almost 2 at the time, but she lost her focus pretty quick, and never finished a lure. Gonna give it a try again this year.

Location: Oregon | These look great! If you didn't do it, have them sign the lures and date them, it will mean so much more years down the road. Just the other night I was standing in the basement around my lure buildng stuff with my now 20 year old son looking at a lure he built and signed almost 10 years ago now.

| True works of art and material for framing after they have been well used. Make sure they have a chance to catch something with them, what a thrill. |

| Ken,
If the water was not so hard I would offer to shoot video of them for another keepsake! Can't have enough memories! |
