Was just wondering if anybody here has used this buisness and was wondering your thoughts on it. Also was wondering if any of you have put the reel upgrades on that he offers and what your toughts were on those as well. thanks

I've got one of his recessed Callcutta TE powerhandles...I'll never own a reel without a power handle!

I have purchased some handles from him...he knows his stuff...had a long talk w/ him about musky reels past and present, and he knows the in's and out's of them all for the most part...I haven't had anything serviced by him but I think I will

I just sent in a few reels for service yesterday. The person who replied to my questions on service/repairs for my reels was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I will update my experience once they are back in my hands.

He repaired all of my broken reels earlier this year. Great people and the reels have taken a beating this year and are still working.

I do a little reel repair myself on amateur basis, and can only say, that Mikes Reel Repair are very competent people.

is it worth it to upgrade my 5600 AL? it's a 4.7-1 ratio and around 10 years old. haven't used it enough to wear it out. makes a noise -not bad , just a abu garcia noise but it's my first baitcaster i ever bought. so i'm kinda partial to it..thanks ..karol

We had them speak at our club last year. They know everything there is to know about reels. They have reapired alot of my reels and I was very satisfied with their work. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I just sent in two 401 TE's and two 301 DSV's to Dave's reel repair and couldn't be happier with the service. Mark called me when he received them and called again when he started working on them and told me everything that he was going to do. There were no surprises and when I got the reels back they were smooth as could be. Great work and I will use Dave's again without question.

I sent an e-mail to Dave's Reel Repair about a power handle for my TD Luna 300.
Mark quickly replied me recommending me the correct power handle for my reel.
Great service !!!
