As your guys' water gets hard, ours is just heating up! Musky fishing gets great on our waters during the coldest months of the year, with multiple fish days being the norm, and the biggest last year in the boat being a 49.5" 38 lb winter fatty. Our Tn fish have RIDICULOUS girths for their length, especially in winter. After a couple months of hard work with just a few fish to show, I had a 3 fish day last week, a 30", a 44" and a 46" in about 3 hours angling. And it will only get better as the winter progresses.

Anyone interested in heading down our way this winter, or any locals out there using this board? I'm based out of Cookeville, TN.

No kidding you are going to have a Caravan down there and most likely no guide trips.

I'd recomend checking out Stones Throw Adventures and booking a trip with either Corey Allen or Dwayne Hickey. They both now the central Tenn. muskies very well and have caught many.

Get a hold of Hall of fame member Fred McClintock. He guides on Dale Hollow. He is real good. Mike

Sadly,Fred Has retired due to his wifes deteriorating health. He sold all his boats, rods , reels and plugs. If you never fished with him, you missed the experience of a life time. Here is a video of a Dale Hollow muskie from this year.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pbIJyeClno
