I hit a slump here recently.  Nothing but dang blue skies I haven't seen a cloud in going on 2 weeks.  I have had a couple follows on double 10's and one on a swimmin joe.  I am still picking up some green veg when fishing deep points.

I am ready for a front to move through.  What is working for you?

Thanks

Daniel

Daniel,

Since the last day of September I've boated 12 fish. 10 of those 12 I believe came on suckers. Other than meat I have lived and die with a Sand Cat this fall.

95% of my follows have been on big dive/rise baits, a few hits is all though, the couple I have boated have been on double 10's after long figure 8's. We even tried a sucker the otherday, 3 follows on jerk baits but no looks at the sucker.

Yesterday I had a fatty working on a swimin joe in perch color....He came up out of the deep approx 15-17' and followed up into 8' of water. He acted lazyand chased the figure 8 for half a loop and gave up... I went back later that day and brought the musky up again with a double 13 chrome blades. The musky was a little more active did a full loop and gave up. I am making large wide deep figure 8's I'm not burning them in either..... Does anyone have any advice? Water temp is 49 degrees.
