Can someone confirm or deny that this will work for a drying rack?

I havn't been able to get a good full view of other drying racks. I should be able to build this with some ply wood and scrap wood correct? I already have hook hangers, springs, and wire. Am I missing anything critical?

If anyone wants to provide links or pictures of your drying racks that would be much appreciated!

Thanks a bunch wolftackle84! That is exactly what I was looking for. I searched all the post in the last year and couldn't find anything useful. Thank you again!
