If you have put a layer of etex on a biat and you see a spot that it did not cover that you know was brushed over ....do you clean that area before the next layer ? If so ...with what ?

Thanks,
Dinver

I don't. Just go on with your second coat and everything should be fine.

for what its worth i clean every bait real good after painting them and then clear coat. i used to get those spots you were talking about and i think its from the oil on my fingers. i use just good window cleaner between painting and clearing. try taking heat to those spots and see if you can make it run it those holes if not i think its from a bait that isn't 100% clean.

Before I put a second coat on I would wipe the lure with alcohol to make sure it was clean
